Lars B. Thoresen joins The Board of Directors of CARN

We are proud to announce that Lars B. Thoresen will join the board of directors in CARN Capital.

Lars B. Thoresen has been Managing Partner/Joint Managing Partner for Verdane Capital Advisors from 2008 to 2015. Lars joined Verdane Capital’s Oslo office in 1999. Verdane manages more than NOK 6 bn for Norwegian and international institutional investors, and has 25 employees in their offices in Oslo, Stockholm and Helsinki. At Verdane Lars has been instrumental in the acquisition of both several portfolios of direct investments as well as individual companies, such as Nordic Venture Partners, Ferd and EasyPark. He has also helped build and grow a number of portfolio companies from a board role, such as Opera Software AS, Liaison Technologies Inc., CRF Health Oy, and more recently Napatech. In 2016 Lars moved to a Senior Advisor position at Verdane, opening up for external roles and investments. Lars has since taken on Board positions in Arundo Analytics Inc. and The Future Group, investing in both.

Lars holds an MBA from INSEAD (France) and a BSc in Finance from St. John’s University, New York (USA).
