Knut Anton Mork joins CARN’s investment team as Economic Advisor

2016-07 KAM BW-red We are proud to announce that Knut Anton Mork joins the investment team of CARN.

Knut Anton has more than 40 years of experience from finance and academia. Mr. Mork started his career in academics at MIT, University of Arizona, Vanderbilt University and the Foundation for Research in Economics and Business Administration (SNF). He has also been professor at BI Norwegian Business School. He then switched over to the financial industry. From 1996 until 2016 he was Chief Economist Norway and Senior Economist at Svenska Handelsbanken. He headed the macroeconomic research group in Oslo, a part of a global macro team. He has twice headed Norges Bank Watch.

In addition to his role at CARN, Mr. Mork was recently heading a government appointed Committee bearing his name, with a charge to reevaluate and consider possible changes to the equity share and the reference indices for the Government Pension Fund Global. He is also an Adjunct Professor in financial economics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

Mr. Mork holds a PhD in Economics from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
