PEP: A person who holds or has held a high-ranking public office or position in Norway or abroad. This includes head of state, head of government, minister or minister, member of the national assembly or member of the governing body of a political member of a political party, member of a higher judicial authority, the board of a national audit office or a central bank, ambassador, chargé d'affaires or military officer of higher rank, member of an administrative/managing or controlling body of a state-owned enterprise, director, member of the board of directors or other member of the senior management of an international organisation.
