About us

CARN was established in 2013 and currently provides fund management and asset management services for individuals, families and organisations. We place great emphasis on quality in all aspects of our work – both in the way we work and in the way we invest.

From the outset, our investment strategy has been focused on companies with clear quality characteristics, including low debt, low capital intensity and high return on invested capital.

In parallel with our focus on quality, we have also integrated social responsibility into the investment process from day one. Ethics and long-term value creation are key factors that we consider for all existing and potential new investments. These factors are also central to how we operate in all areas of our business.

In our work as investment advisors and asset managers, we therefore emphasise combining social responsibility with quality investments. The goal is to create a secure and solid risk-adjusted return for our customers, while at the same time ensuring that the capital contributes to the positive development of society.

Our name Carn is based on the ancient Celtic word for cairn. For thousands of years, cairns have marked the landscape and helped travellers find their way. For us, «carn» symbolises our stewardship responsibility as responsible investors.
